May Studio Updates at AOI
Happy MDW from AOI! 🏖
May was an exciting blur at the AOI offices, with so much progress happening—even with Ariel out on maternity leave after welcoming her second daughter in April! We can’t wait to ring in the summer season this weekend, and hope you’re celebrating with a warm breeze, a good book, and a cool drink in hand.

AOI Offices
As you can see from the photo above, our office is coming together, and we couldn’t be more excited! We let out a collective “ooh” as The Shade Store installed the gorgeous Martyn Lawrence Bullard chinoiserie panels. Next up—grasscloth wallpaper!
Southampton
This sweet vignette is from our Southampton project, which we started installing early in the month, just in time for an MDW move-in for our clients. Check out my Instagram Stories for more behind the scene imagery on this install—we are thrilled with how it turned out and can’t wait to shoot it!
Riverside Drive
We are so excited to share more of our Riverside Drive project (beautiful images courtesy Donna Dotan and styled by Frances Bailey!) This was a fun and eclectic project to work on with fantastic clients, and it was so gratifying to see it all come together.
New Canaan
Our New Canaan project is shaping up to be an absolute beauty, and we can’t wait for the lovely family of four to move in later this summer. In the meantime, we’ve been hard at work getting the painters and wallpaper installers inside to work their magic. Stay tuned for more in-progress pics!

Ariel is incredibly elated to be included as one of House Beautiful’s 2022 Next Wave Designers! Ever since opening the firm in 2016, it was a dream of AO’s to make it on this list of on-the-rise industry talents. A huge thank you to Jo Saltz, Robert Rufino, Hadley Keller, Amanda Sims and the entire team at HB for the honor.
We have a new site! 🎉 Stay tuned for even more updates, as well as some new *content* from Fenimore Lane – and keep an eye out for a complete redesign of Fenimore Lane and our e-commerce shop, launching in July. (Shoutout to the amazing Roxanne Hanna at Hanna Creative Co!)
Ariel will also be taking 1:1 Design Consultations on The Expert starting in July, so be sure to book in advance!
